I like this machine for the variability in stride length making it useful for people with different heights. It is also a good calorie burn for the time you spend and less boring than an elliptical because of the varying stride length (Posted on 2014-03-24)

I purchased this freemotion product after i had sold my 5.1 treadmill to a family memeber. I am very impressed with the ability to focus in on specific body parts in the legs while retaning perfect range of motion. I would highly recomend this stridetrainer to any one looking for a serious fitness challange (Posted on 2011-02-08)
Long Review: Machine broke out of box, called Freemotion, got more angry, called Flamn's, now its good again. Review by Angela Mitts

I originally bought this machine because of all the hype on this new type of stairclimber/elliptical combination. So I tried it out with my running gear and I was sweating after only 10 minutes and my legs were on fire! I bought this without looking around because typically I would be on an elliptical for 20-30 minutes before I started to sweat and my legs were never getting that much of a workout.

I decided to take it and install it myself (to save extra money) and was extremely disappointed with it. I set it up out of box (box was heavy) and the machine was scraping and pedals were jamming up. How does Freemotion allow this product to pass inspection before going to customer?
I called Freemotion and was a little bit angry with their customer service...it was going to take over a week to get a service tech and they could not guarantee he could fix it.
I called Flamman Fitness back to explain what had happened and they explained that the warranty I bought covered the defect and had a service man come the next day. It was fixed within 5 minutes and guy said it seemed to be a common issue during shipping for the wheels to scrape (cover moves during shipping?).
So relieved that I hadn't broke something when I delivered and set it up. But it makes you wonder how this was not caught during inspection?

I have had this machine now for 3 weeks and I use it every single day. My workout are only 15 minutes and I have lost almost 7 pounds in that time! Highly recommend this machine and would recommend delivery & setup. (Posted on 2011-02-06)
The only cardio machine I can use for my knees Review by Harbjit Pinder

I bought this machine a couple months back from a different store and paid too much for it, I see that the strider has a good sale price now in Flamins. But I wanted to write a review because it's really helped me get back into shape.
A few years back I was in a car accident and have had several surgeries on my knees and they will never be the same again. I used to be quite a fit person and since that day I have had difficulties getting back into a workout program. Running and jogging are way too painful for my knees and most ellipticals have the pedals too far apart and my hips are so sore I can't walk straight for a week.
This machine has made all the difference for me. The pedals are very close together and the machine feels good for my body. I had spent a long time researching different machines and finally came to this one. It is one of the only ellipticals that is a stairclimber and stepper except with no impact and no set stride length. So I can do longer strides and switch to short strides when my muscles get sore. I highly recommend this machine to others who can't use ellipticals or have the impact of treadmills. (Posted on 2010-12-17)
Finally something more fun than a treadmill Review by Ana Garcia

Delivery - allow for 2 to 3 weeks - especially if "free delivery"

Assembly - my machine came partially assembled. only parts I needed to put together was the bar handles (handles that read heart rate), bar where console seats and plastic covers for joints/screw covers. It is recommended for two people to put this machine together, but I was able to do it all by myself. It took me almost 3 hrs. You must be very careful when handling the wires - take your time, you do not want to damage any of the pins, otherwise you will experience problems with the console.

The workout - I think this machine delivers what it promise. You can definately burn over 1,000 calories per hour. it has various pre-programed workouts -they are fun and make the time go by fast, you can try a differnt work out everyday. the fan helps you stay cool. I normally have a hard time breaking a sweat, not with this machine. I think this machine would work well for a short or tall person, the stride allows for a low impact, no stress on joints work out. i normally experience ankle pain when using eliptical machines, but not with this one.

I would recommend this machine - its fun, easy to use and will deliver all that it promises. Also its size is pretty compact given the quality of this machine. (Posted on 2010-12-17)
