Trouble with Craftmanship
I purchased this and went to put it together following all instructions in manual. It says to lay out the parts, done, then on page one it starts by telling you to place the items together and finger tight the screws, THERE IS NOTHING TO FINGER TIGHT THEM TO, THE SCREWS JUST POP IN AND OUT. I really hope that Flaman Fitness takes care of this for me. Email sent for help as I live 3 1/2 hours from the nearest store

Researched tons - this is the best option
I don't purchase anything without spending hours on the internet, on the phone, visiting stores and asking colleagues. Colleagues who are into this are usually limited by their "gym experiences" so they're not much help on the home fitness front. But all the rest of my research pointed to this form of Bowflex (with or without the "auto" cable feature). Super easy to use and produces results which encourages further use. Everyone in the family uses it as do guests. Relatively small 'footprint'. Absolutely quiet - no clanging or thumping and seemingly as safe as anything on the market. The online purchase was easy, delivery was prompt, assembly was straightforward. What is there to be dissatisfied with? It could have been free, I suppose.

Very please with Bowflex SE
Overall, very please with the Bowflex. Assembly was a chore at times, but completed this with my 12 year old daughter. Got it put together in about 2.5 hours. This doesn't take up a whole lot of space, which the wife likes. :)

Was going to purchase the Bowflex SE 2, but this was on sale & seemed to be the better deal. Changing the cables has been no big deal at all.

Love this machine
Very easy to use, fits into my very small extra bedroom with my rowing machine, and room to spare.
The Flaman store guys have been great also!

Great machine and good price too bad quality was missed.
Was looking at purchasing a bowflex extreme 2 but the Bowflex SE came up on sale and changing cables was not a big deal. I have had Bowflex machines previously and was very happy with them. When I assembled this unit the leg press attachment was made incorrectly with the holes on the top side of the tube. The cable slot for the lat bar is too narrow to store the cables and one of the #50 power rods snapped off the first time it was used. I really like the Bowflex machine but feel that the quality is really lacking. Are the parts checked @ the factory before the machines are shipped out?

Today is December 23, 2011 and this model is on sale for $999 w/Free 310lb. upgrade Reg. $1999 Well I was in a motor vehicle accident and suffered a head injury that put me into a wheelchair. I can still walk but my balance is severely effected though.I have no problem with this peice of excersise equipment because I have the motivation to push myself as hard as I can to get back to my walking condition again, and I hope with this peice of fitness equipment to help me out that I'd get back to my old self.

Great workouts in less time!
I bought the Extreme SE this summer, and must say it exceeds my expectations! Great workouts every time, the power rods and their progressive resistance create a deep pump. Mine came with 310lbs upgrade which will get upgraded to 410 soon. Keep in mind I have trained hard for 12 years and am not a novice lifter by any means. Cable changes are easily done between sets, even my wife can use it. Overall very satisfied, and I would highly recommend.

Cheap Bowflex and way more exerc. than other cheaper bowflex
I had not seen this unit before until it went on sale on the website. The other stores in Lethbridge do not have this bowflex so I could only buy it online.
I am very happy with the machine. From what I can see it looks identical to the more expensive Extreme 2 except you have to change cable clips in between exercises.
Not a big deal considering the price difference.
And the 310 upgrade was free and was going to be an extra $150 with the other unit on top of $1999?
