The Xebex Air Rower is easy to put together, easy to use and easy to like – a point on which riders and critics alike agree. Fitprof named it one of its Best Buys of 2019.
A comprehensive, easy-to-read console continually tracks time rowed, metres covered, calories burned and more. Its large middle window offers nine displays that monitor important info like maximum heart rate, calories burned and average. You’ll want that information as you take on a multitude of challenging programs like Quick Start, Competition Racing, Interval/Tabata, Target Time, Target Distance, Target Calories, Target Strokes, and Target Heart Rate. That information will help you decide what to do with all the control this rower affords. You can master output, speed and the amount of work you do, while a ten-setting damper puts you in command of air resistance and flow.
It’s amazingly ergonomic, with a seat set at the right height for you to get in and out and enjoy plenty of knee room. You’ll find more comfort in extra-padded, high-density foam seats and a unique fan designed to utilize air resistance – giving you a smoother rowing experience, in which the momentum starts building with your first pull. It’s hard to believe all of that comfort is mounted on nearly 100 pounds of solid metal and powered by a stainless-steel chain.
When you’re done, storage is a breeze. It folds with the pull of a pin to half of an already compact footprint – then rolls away easily on four wheels

- Great deal on sale
I'm used to the Concept at the gym so know the feel and the resistance very well. Trying to find out more about the Xebex brand, I was able to find lots about them in the US but not much in Canada. The reviews were awesome so I tried this out in store for a good 15 minutes and the feel is pretty much the same. This rower is noticeably heavier than the concept and is built with heavy steel.
I ended up buying it after it went on sale and saved $400 versus buying the concept. Now my gym buddy wants one too. I'll be looking at a rack from Xebex too. They look like they build high quality

- Commercial rower
We bought 3 of these for our home crossfit studio that we train out of. We got a much better price than the Concept 2 rower and the Xebex has a better warranty. Previously we were very comfortable with the C2 but our sales guy gave us 1 model to try of the Xebex and it's extremely heavy and just as smooth, so we ended up buying two more.
Probably overkill for home use but it's definitely a commercial rated unit.

- Better than the C2
I've tried both the Concept 2 and Xebex out. After much consideration, and going back and forth, I chose the Xebex. It cost less for the same quality and the seat is more comfortable.

- Great machine!
Great customer service during the purchase process. Set-up was easy to figure out, but it was really good to have a second set of hands for some of the steps. We've been using regularly for a few weeks now, and it works as expected. The computer was easy to figure out too, happy with the metrics displayed. Super happy with this purchase, highly recommended!
